Futurama Fry
Futurama was then aired in reruns on Adult Swim on Cartoon Network, from January 2003 to December 2007, when the network's contract expired. It was revitalized in 2007 as four straight-to-DVD films; the last of the four was released in early 2009.
Comedy Central entered into an contract with 20th Century Fox Television to organization the existing episodes and air the films as 16 new, half-hour episodes. Fry is an standard, carefully unremarkable loser in his mid 20s pizza delivery boy who, during the last few seconds of the year 1999, was pushed into a cryogenic freezing tank while delivering pizza on a prank call. In high school, he claims to have suffered three heart attacks from drinking 100 cans of cola each week. He then got a job as a delivery boy at Panucci's Pizza. Fry is a very caring and kind hearted person who often goes out of his way to help his friends, even if he is sometimes oblivious to their problems. He tolerates all of his friends' quirks and is notable as the only staff member to treat Zoidberg decently.
Although at times lacking in self-awareness, Fry always tries to do the right thing and fix his mistakes. He had an older brother named Yancy, with whom he had a lifelong conflict, due to Fry's perception that Yancy took everything of his (and vice versa). In high school, he claims to have suffered three heart attacks from drinking 100 cans of cola each week. He then got a job as a delivery boy at Panucci's Pizza. Due to a sequence of misadventures and actions involving an unintentional trip into the past, Fry ends up becoming his own grandfather by killing his supposed grandfather in a atomic explosion and later that same day spending the night with his young grandmother. Differentiate as straightforward, sweet, green and young, Fry regards Bender as his closest friend, despite the latter's often violent criminal tendencies. He also has strong feelings for Leela, (to whom he was married and then divorced due to time skips) although he needs the intelligence required for articulating his emotions; thus, his love remains (sometimes coldly) unrequited, though not entirely without hope. She does infrequently return his attention throughout the series, and in the movie 'Into the Wild Green Yonder', she admits to loving him back. At the end of that film, they are seen sharing a kiss as they enter a wormhole. Despite his low intelligence, Fry is a very caring and kind hearted person who often goes out of his way to help his friends, even if he is sometimes oblivious to their problems. He bears all of his friends' quirks and is remarkable as the only staff member to treat Zoidberg decently. Although at times lacking in self-awareness, Fry always tries to do the right thing and fix his mistakes. His lack of the Delta brainwave later on verify to prevent his mind from being read telepathically (which in itself can be considered a joke implying that he does not think at all).Fry is the main protagonist and character of Futurama. In the future, Fry (as he is referred to in the show) is the first class delivery boy of Planet Express, which his nephew owns. Before being employed by Planet Express in the year 3000 he had worked for Panucci's Pizza during the late 20th century.
